On the margins of his official visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ceyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.

The Ministers emphasized that sustained high-level dialogue and reciprocal visits are essential for deepening the Azerbaijan–Oman partnership. They explored new avenues for cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, humanitarian affairs, and culture.

The official opening of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Muscat was highlighted as a significant milestone that will serve as a strong new driver of interstate relations.

The sides also commended their effective cooperation within the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

Moreover, the importance of close coordination was underlined in light of major high-level events to be hosted by Azerbaijan in 2026, including the OIC Summit and the World Urban Forum.
