The First International Forum on Creative Handicraft Industries Is Being Held in the Sultanate of Oman
The First International Forum on Creative Handicraft Industries is being organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SME Development Authority) of the Sultanate of Oman.
The Forum is taking place from 22 to 26 January 2026 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat. The event brings together representatives of institutions and enterprises operating in the fields of creativity and handicraft industries from the Sultanate of Oman as well as from various foreign countries.
The Republic of Azerbaijan is also represented at the Forum, with delegates from the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan participating in the event.
Within the framework of the Forum, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Sultanate of Oman, H.E. Rashad Ismayilov, together with the Chairperson of the SME Development Authority of Oman, Ms. Halima bint Rashid Al Zaria, visited the Azerbaijan stand and familiarized themselves with the products and creative exhibits on display.
