On 29 October 2025, within the framework of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ceyhun Bayramov, met with the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation of Oman and the Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said.
During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijan–Oman relations at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
The decisive role of high-level visits in elevating bilateral relations to a new level and in further stimulating political and economic cooperation between the two countries was emphasized.
Confidence was expressed that the launch of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Oman would provide additional impetus to bilateral cooperation.
Highlighting the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations, Minister Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan highly appreciates the establishment of friendship groups between the parliaments of the two countries in 2025.
