On April 23, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Sultanate of Oman, Rashad İsmayılov, held a meeting with H.E. Sayyid Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Oman.
During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Oman in the fields of culture, sports, and youth. Both parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Rashad Ismayilov provided detailed information about Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, international achievements in sports, and youth policy. The discussion also covered the organization of mutual visits, joint events, and the expansion of experience exchange.
H.E. Sayyid Saud Al Busaidi expressed interest in enhancing cooperation between Oman and Azerbaijan and highlighted the importance of implementing joint initiatives in the future.
